Challenges in Post-Construction Cleaning (Meydan Villa)

1) Old Tape & Adhesive on Glass and Frames

Protective tapes/stickers hardened over time. We used plastic scrapers, mineral-safe adhesive removers and microfiber polishing to restore crystal-clear glass without scratching or damaging anodised frames.

2) Cement, Grout & Paint on Marble/Porcelain Floors

Controlled chemical softening, careful dwell time and neutralisation followed by machine scrubbing with soft pads removed cement haze and splashes. Edges and skirtings were detailed manually.

3) Wooden Floors & Glass Cabinets

Wooden flooring received low-moisture, pH-balanced treatment and microfiber buffing. Adjacent glass cabinetry was tape-safe cleaned and polished.

Step-by-Step Process for Post-Construction Deep Cleaning

  1. Inspection & HSE briefing with customised checklist.
  2. Debris & protection removal across all areas.
  3. High dusting of ceilings, vents, lights and wall panels.
  4. Glass & frame treatment—tape/adhesive removal, wash, squeegee, polish.
  5. Floor restoration clean—chemical dwell, machine scrub, edge detailing; neutral rinse.
  6. Kitchen & cabinet detailing—inside/outside wipe, tracks & hinges clean.
  7. Bathroom deep clean—tile haze removal, descaling fixtures, sanitisation.
  8. Outdoor areas—balcony glass, porcelain/stone tiles and landings.
  9. Final QA walkthrough with punch-list closure and handover photos.
